Back To Roots - New Era

It's been a few months since I started repairing electronic devices like Wi-Fi routers, satellite TV receivers, TVs, and monitors. Recently, I've decided to accept laptops for repair as well.

ASUS - K43S

For these kinds of repairs, I usually take on completely dead devices. This way, if I make a mistake, I won't risk damaging a customer's partially working device. Additionally, customers don't rush me to finish quickly, so I have plenty of time—at least a few days—to work on the repairs.

Besides being a source of income, I'm also trying to learn in the process. Using my limited knowledge, along with YouTube videos and websites, I strive to expand my skills.

Right now, I'm in the process of fixing my very first laptop, and it's been a journey of ups and downs. It seems like a pretty messed-up laptop with a short circuit on the +3VA rail, and it's been a challenging task to locate the failed component.

I'm trying to narrow down the problem and identify where the issue lies, and I hope I'll be able to find it soon.

I'll try to share the process as I go, as this is also how I learn. Sharing knowledge and data is what we do, and it's the key to expanding existing knowledge so we can evolve better and faster.

"Others planted, we ate.

We plant so that others may eat."

Wish me success. 🙏🙏
